Finland - SA - Suomi Billhook Cover/Carrier

Aside from the larger Engineer Axe used by the Finns, there were a few smaller cutting tools on issue.
Being a country with large areas of forest, they tended to be well supplied with such things, and made to a very high standard too - firms such as Billnäs and Fiskars being well established then, and for good reason!

The Billhook cover/carrier shown below is for the standard issue tool, which being double edged, has extra rivets as part of the design, likely a bit of a fail-safe in case the stitching gets damaged & to allow for wear & tear.
