Alnwick Castle
A regular venue for the old Longbow club I shot with
I still have the longbow (bamboo & lemonwood),
but the quiver was "lost" at a GNAS meet.
Details to follow for:
arm guards,
arrow quivers,
bolt quivers,
string retainers,
finger tabs,
crossbow bolt flights
& all manner of essentials for the traditional bent stick archer or devotees of the Devils own Arbalest
In the past I supplied a couple of smaller archery shops in the UK with items,
but they both closed down some time ago.
Happy to do likewise again for UK based archery suppliers....
A bad day chucking arrows/bolts about the place is better than a good day at the office, not that I have an office 😋
Watch this space....and your butts
A typical medieval style quiver - designed to carry 24 arrows.
Linen outer with a heavy duty leather spacer, which is sewn in place using cotton thread.
Not ready for use in these photos as the base is not padded with straw or similar and tied off.
Ideal for longbow users looking for a more traditional quiver.
