This leather pad fits onto the Snake-buckle belt to stop oil from the old filled Bullseye lanterns from staining the tunic & burning the wearer is available to order.
(This accessory is potentially time specific, as the use of oil in lamps normally died off with the adoption of battery models, so it may be more for earlier portrayals - though some rural forces likely kept with the older lamps as they were easily refilled, and batteries were both unreliable & expensive by comparison)
A couple of the protector pads - ignore the cutlass!
An original period belt, with old Bullseye Lamp & new lamp protector pad fitted
