1918 Pattern (Australian)

The 1918 scope was basically the same as the British pattern, the only difference was that the scope caps had a more complicated connecting strap.

The British version of the scope caps had a single piece strap, the Australian version had a sliding strap made up of four pieces of leather; two straps & two keepers.

Made with dark leather, these are also marked with the Broad Arrow ordnance stamp.
